YOC with revenue growth of 18 % in Q1/2023 – VIS.X® technology platform as a driver of corporate development
Berlin, 15 May 2023 – In the first three months of the current financial year 2023, the ad tech company YOC AG (Frankfurt, Prime Standard, ISIN: DE0005932735) was able to increase revenues at group level by 18 % to EUR 5.2 million (Q1/2022: EUR 4.4 million). All the company’s regional locations continued to develop positively with a significant increase in turnover compared to the same period of the previous year.
Parallel to this development, the gross profit ratio improved to 44 % (Q1/2022: 43 %). The company’s own technology platform VIS.X® contributed to this development in particular.
The takeover of Nostemedia Oy and a noticeable increase in personnel in further platform development, sales, and in the context of internationalization cause an increase in the number of employees and thus in the company’s personnel expenses in the first quarter of 2023.
Consequently, the operating result before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA)* amounted to EUR 0.3 million in the reporting period (Q1/2022: EUR 0.6 million). Consolidated profit for the period amounted to EUR 0.0 million (Q1/2022: EUR 0.3 million).
YOC AG’s revenue and earnings for the first quarter of 2023 are thus in line with the full-year forecast for 2023.
