YOC AG withdraws guidance for 2020

Publication of inside information pursuant to Article 17 of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014

Berlin, 9 April 2020 – The global spread of the novel COVID-19 virus and the associated negative effects, particularly in the advertising industry, in which YOC AG is operating, have increased steadily in the first quarter of 2020. In view of the continued dynamic development of the situation and against the background of a decline in incoming orders for the current second quarter of 2020 contrary to expectations, the Management Board of YOC AG today decided not to maintain its forecast for the entire year 2020.

Previously, the Management Board of YOC AG had forecast Group-level revenues of EUR 17.0 to 18.0 million and EBITDA* of EUR 1.0 to 1.5 million for the full year 2020.

The company has already initiated countermeasures in response to this crisis. However, it is currently not possible to make a sufficiently reliable estimate of the period and extent to which the Company can expect to be impacted by COVID-19 virus effects. At this stage, it is not possible to estimate exactly to what extent these countermeasures will be able to compensate for this.

As and when a more stable outlook becomes available and reliable forecasting for the fiscal year 2020 is possible again, YOC AG will communicate new guidance to the market.

* EBITDA corresponds to the definition in the YOC AG report for the first half of 2019 (available at https://yoc.com/investor-relations/financial-reports/)
